Siemens Digital Industries Software has announced the 2025 release of Solid Edge software, bringing new capabilities to its product development software. The latest release also introduces Solid Edge X software, delivering a cloud-enabled secure Software as a Service (SaaS) environment, enhanced with new AI-enabled tools to help users work smarter.
Bosch Rexroth will display product technologies and complete factory automation solutions for CPG manufacturing in Booth S-1548 at Pack Expo 2024, November 3-6, in Chicago, Illinois.
With the P-725.xCDE1S focus scanner and the U-781 PILine XY stage system, PI completes its range of positioning systems for fluorescence microscopy applications. The dynamic focus scanner is offered as a complete package including controller and allows travel ranges up to 400 µm. The U-781 XY stage system with controller and joystick is mechanically compatible with inverted microscopes of leading manufacturers and offers interfaces to common microscopy software tools such as µ-Manager, MatLab, LabView, Python, and Nikon NIS Elements—all at an attractive price/performance ratio.
Tolomatic has introduced five new products to meet a wider range of industrial applications. These five sizes expand the RSX’s capabilities to include forces up to 66,000 lbf (294 kN). These expansion efforts also include updated model numbering, with each number now reflecting the actuator’s thrust. For example, the RSX096 is now the RSX15 with 15-ton thrust.
Ruland Manufacturing has expanded its jaw coupling line to meet the demands of high-torque applications, now offering bore sizes up to 1-3/4 in or 45 mm and torque capacities of 2,655 in-lbs. (300 Nm). These new jaw couplings are designed for use in precision systems with high deceleration and acceleration curves, such as those found in semiconductor, solar, conveyor, and warehouse automation applications.
The S-17-85 Series of “C” Frame Pull Type Solenoids from Magnetic Sensor Systems (MSS) includes 18 different solenoids to select from based on the Voltage, Duty Cycle, Attractive Force (up to 91 oz) and Stroke length requirements of the user. MSS Solenoid coils typically utilize 23 to 40 AWG (American Wire Gauge) windings with Class “F” insulation for better protection of the solenoid during longer duty cycles. Operating voltage range is from 3.0 VDC to 429 VDC, and from 5 to 40 Watts.
The KISSsoft System Module is an intuitive, versatile, and adaptable tool for modeling and analyzing entire gear systems. It is an integral part and module of the KISSsoft software and accelerates sizing and optimization along the whole design process. Considering the needs of customers, KISSsoft's goal is to assist with the migration of the existing models to the System Module and for a smooth transition, it is highly recommended to start with the current release.
NTN Corporation is pleased to announce the expansion of our “Low Friction Hub Bearing” Series, with the development of two new products with low friction characteristics, “Low Friction Hub Bearing IV” and “Low Friction Hub Bearing V”. These hub bearings were developed to meet the needs of our global automotive OE customer-base, as they strive to make their mobility products more efficient.
Today's demanding industrial applications require compact, robust connectors that can reliably transmit high currents and voltages. binder, a provider of circular connectors, now offers the perfect solution: special flange components act as plug-in partners for the PBC15 cable connector. This combination enables tailored solutions for a wide range of applications, such as in-drive technology.
Continental's CONTI NXT Multi V-belt from the ContiTech group shows it will also be possible to power auxiliary units in cars using renewable raw materials and recycled materials. CONTI NXT Multi V-belt will use tension cords made from recycled PET bottles, a textile cover layer made from organic fibers as well as rubber certified according to the mass balance standard and recycled carbon black. Overall, the belt is made of almost two-thirds of more sustainable materials compared to conventional V-ribbed belts. The CONTI NXT will be available in the spring of 2025, in addition to the conventional Multi V-belts of the Continental brand – initially in 25 different types for the most common repair needs.
