Motion + Power Technology Expo Preview: Gear Motions

September 17, 2019
Gear Motions will exhibit at the Motion + Power Technology Expo (MPT Expo), Oct. 15-17, 2019, at the TCF Center in Detroit, Michigan. During the event, the company will introduce new, non-backdriveable gearbox technology. Attendees can view demonstrations of the never-before-seen, patented technology at the Gear Motions’ booth (Booth 3531).

At MPT Expo, Gear Motions will also unveil its plan for a substantial new equipment investment. The precision manufacturer plans to add three new Reishauer robotic gear grinders to its facilities in Syracuse, New York, and Buffalo, New York, over the next two years. The first, a Reishauer RZ 260, is expected to be installed by the end of 2019. Already known as gear grinding specialists, the new machines will further expand the company’s gear grinding capacity and add new capabilities such as twist control and super finishing.

Thousands of industry professionals are expected to attend the MPT Expo to discover cost-effective solutions and new technologies in the mechanical, electrical and fluid power industries. Gear Motions’ top sales and engineering staff will be on-site and available to discuss customers’ precision manufacturing needs and project specifications.
