Michigan Manufacturing International Opens New Facility

November 27, 2013
Michigan Manufacturing International (MMI), a broad line supplier of high-quality mechanical assemblies and components, held a grand opening at their new headquarters at 1625 Sonny Schulz Boulevard in the Matapeake Industrial Park in Stevensville, Maryland on Thursday, November 21. CEO Jacob Prak commented on the new location, saying, “Our relocation is long overdue. MMI is expanding, offering more products and services to our clients, and this new 39,000 square foot facility allows us to do that, along with leasing space to others. In addition, Prak said, “Our worldwide sourcing and manufacturing capability allows our customers to rely on us for complicated, larger assemblies and complete products. They are also depending on us to meet their just-in-time inventory needs. Both of these activities require more space.”

Founded in 1991, MMI specializes in supplying manufactured to print assemblies and components to original equipment manufacturers (OEM). Products include assemblies, castings, stampings, machined parts, gears, bearings and more. Services include product engineering, manufacturing, inventory management and stocking programs — all designed to streamline client operations and increase profitability. MMI designs the most effective, highest quality solutions from anywhere in the world.
