Marsh Bellofram Releases ATC 365C Long-Ranger

August 27, 2020
For process automation and control with a wide range of possible intervals, the ATC 365C Long-Ranger Computing Timer is the latest generation in the popular long ranger timer series. Made by ATC, a leader in industrial timing and control devices, the 365C is adjustable from one-hundredth of a second all the way up to 999 hours. The microprocessor based digital timer has three rotary knobs for easy setting and adjustment of the preset. Its true plug in panel mounting allows for easy installation and replacement without the removal of field wiring for minimal downtime.

The 365C is suited for a wide range of industries that rely on process controls to run smoothly and efficiently, including power gen, petrochemical, manufacturing, automotive, pulp and paper, steel, and many more.

The decimal and range of the 365C are switch selectable and two heavy duty 7A DPDT relays provide instant, interval, or delayed output control. Full gasketing and O-ring seal keeps the unit dust tight.

Through its internal microcomputer, the 365C long-ranger computing timer keeps track of the set point throughout the time cycle. When there is a change in set point, even during a cycle, it instantly re-computes the time remaining and accurately determines time-out. This unique capability is especially valuable in the time-down modes as it allows for the shortening of a cycle without loss of accuracy.

Digitally clocked by the microcomputer, the 365C’s reset time is consistently of the same duration, regardless of variations in line voltage, power supply or time cycle. As a result, the 365C long-ranger computing timer is not subject to false reset from momentary power interruptions.

The 365C long-ranger computing timer has formidable defenses against noise: transformer power supply, full-wave bridges, buffered logic. Furthermore its microcomputer detects; and rejects; noise pulses that manage to penetrate its defenses. No industrial timer has ever offered greater noise immunity.

The unit’s reliability and ruggedness are also unmatched. The 365C’s electronic components have no moving parts and are assembled, virtually without hand wiring, from computer-tested circuit boards. Its compact, dust-tight plug-in design is packaged in a 72 mm2 DIN housing and occupies 40% less panel space than conventional timers. For added convenience, a self-diagnostic capability displays “FAIL” anytime there is a problem or the knobs are in between digits.
