Moticont Linear Actuators Provide Zero Cogging and High Throughput

Moticont is introducing the low cost DDLM-019-044-01 non-commutated linear actuator. Easily integrated into new and existing applications, this compact, zero cogging, clean, quiet, fully enclosed linear actuator, also referred to as an electric cylinder, is just 0.750 in. (19.1 mm) in. diameter has a housing length of 1.750 in. (44.5 mm) long and has a stroke of 0.460 in. (11.7 mm). This linear actuator can develop 11.0 oz (3.1 N) of continuous force and 34.8 oz (9.7 N) peak force. Direct coupling of the actuator to the load results in zero backlash and allows for smooth, high acceleration/deceleration, and high speed positioning.
The 0.125 in. (3.2 mm) diameter shaft has an internal thread on each end, a total of length of 3.460 in (87.9 mm), and extends 1.085 in. (27.6 mm) past the mounting end of the actuator. The shaft extends thru the 3/8-32 UNF x 0.250 (6.4 mm) long threaded studs at each end of the housing which can be used for mounting the DDL-019-044-01 linear actuator. Long life plain linear bearings support the internal shaft at both end of the actuator.
Highly controllable force, stroke length and speed, low noise, and maintenance free, the DDLM-019-044-01 can be used with a position sensor and controller for the high repeatability and accuracy of a closed loop application.
