Our 60 Plus® linear
shafting has a higher carbon content than what is offered by many
other companies, resulting in a higher case hardness. Maintaining
a consistent case depth, hardness, and surface finish are critical
for good bearing life. Lee Controls deals directly with the steel
mills and has materials processed with proprietary operations to
assure that our linear shafting is of the best quality available.
Other companies harden and grind common shafting, not linear quality,
and cannot assure the consistancy of material needed for this purpose.
