INSCO CORPORATION of Groton, Massachusetts, manufactures high quality custom gears and geared assemblies that serve the needs of three separate but related markets . . .
The first is the development and production of mechanical drive assemblies for such diverse applications as automatic door operators, blood processing machines and beverage dispensers. Gears, housings and other machined components are produced in-house. And the customer enjoys the added advantage of having Insco responsible for the purchase and installation of components such as motors and bearings so that a completely proven assembly is delivered.
The second is the manufacture of job shop lots of coarse pitch spur and helical gears, usually hardened and ground to quality standards as high as AGMA* 14. These extremely accurate gears are made to satisfy the demands of high-speed printing equipment, large centrifuges, precise metering applications, and more.
Third is the production of high-volume lots of hardened and ground gears, under full statistical process control and the guidelines of QS-9000, for applications typified by vehicular engine and drive-line components.
INSCO's mission has always been to enhance its customers' products with the cost and quality advantages that come from our leading-edge technology, manufacturing equipment and quality control procedures. Our success comes from our customer's success, and we welcome every opportunity to add to that.
